Welcome to the Old Rutlishians' Cricket Club Website

The Old Rutlishians Cricket Club (or "Old Ruts" for short) is an open and friendly cricket club based in Merton Park (between Wimbledon and Morden). We run five Saturday teams, four of which play league cricket in the Surrey Championship, the Fifths playing proper as-it-should-be social cricket. On Sundays we put out two sides, the Firsts in a league, the Seconds as a social / academy side (to introduce our older Colts to playing adult cricket). On occasions, we may field a third XI on Sundays. We have three home grounds, outdoor nets, a spacious clubhouse and bar and our membership fees are comparatively low.

More Successs Ahead in the Surrey Championship in 2010?
2010 will be an exciting year as the 1st XI enter their 2nd season in Divison 3 after two recent promotions, the 2nd XI will be in Division 2 after 4 successive promotions and the 3rd XI in Division 1 for the first time ever after last years promotion.

 Before and during the season we actively look to recruit players of any standard. We're an open club and If you are interested in playing, umpiring, or even scoring for us, then the Old Rutlishians warmly welcomes you!
