Welcome to the Old Rutlishians' Cricket Club Website
The Old Rutlishians Cricket Club (or "Old Ruts" for short) is an open and friendly cricket club based in Merton Park (between Wimbledon and Morden). We run five Saturday teams, four of which play league cricket in the Surrey Championship, the Fifths playing proper as-it-should-be social cricket. On Sundays we put out two sides, the Firsts in a league, the Seconds as a social / academy side (to introduce our older Colts to playing adult cricket). On occasions, we may field a third XI on Sundays. We have three home grounds, outdoor nets, a spacious clubhouse and bar and our membership fees are comparatively low.

The Old Rutlishians is an open, friendly and progressive cricket club based in Merton Park. It is part of the Old Rutlishians Association (ORA) which boasts over 1000 members and additional friends of the club.
Our Club has achieved great success in recent seasons, with several teams gaining promotion, and we aim to continue this recent success. We also have a thriving colts section, with just over 300 member families.
We are offering your organisation a fantastic opportunity to gain considerable exposure. Advertising opportunities for your business include:
- placement on a large (3ft x 9ft) advertisement board on the perimeter of our home ground

Winter Nets 2012 - Rutish School
Our winters nets have now started. They will be held every Monday evening (not 13.02.12) from 19.30 - 21.00 at Rultish School Sport Centre (enterance off Mostyn Road, SW19).
The sessions are £6 each and you MUST wear appropriate clothing including a white top.

Old Ruts Cricket Club 2011 Update
2011 saw the 1st XI relegated from Surrey Championship Div 3. Following success in recent seasons the 1st XI are currently re-building their squad and looking to gain promotion back to Div 3 in the 2012 season. 2nd XI just missed out on promotion to Div 1, after solid performances all year round but lost 4 of the last 5 games of the season to miss out on a top 2 finish. 3rd XI had another impressive season and just missed out on promotion of the Premier league, as did our 4th XI.
The Sunday 1st XI were by far the most successful team of the year, again winning the Griffin Sunday League and just missing out on the Trust League finals day. This means that in 2012 we will be competing in the following leagues of the Surrey Championship:
Ø 1st XI – Division 4
Ø 2nd XI – Division 2
Ø 3rd XI – Division 1
Ø 4th XI – Eastern Division
