Old Rutlishians Charity Work (2006)

April 2006 - Another donation to Wood Hall Community in Jamaica
In 2006 we repeated our contributions to the same community, supplying more equipment for the promotion of cricket in the area. They responded with equal gratitude and some pictures of the stars of the Cricket team..

March 2005 - Donation to Wood Hall Community in Jamaica
In early 2005, an appeal was made to all members of the club for spare and second hand equipment to aid the development of Cricket in a community in Clarendon Jamaica. The appeal was made by Old Ruts' member Dwight Lindo who grew up and played Cricket in this area.

The club received a very generous quantity of equipment from our own colts section as well as a number of donations made by individual members of the club. The presentation of the equipment and subsequent help in the renewal of playing facilities was warmly received by the community. We are hopeful that in the future Cricket will thrive in the area amongst the youth and adult population.

For our efforts we received the following letters expressing gratitude:

Dear Sir/Madam,

It is with absolute deep appreciation that we the members of the above named Youth and Community Club write to say thanks for your invaluable donation made to our organization in the form of cricket gears. Be assured that it will be beneficial to the development of the youths and the Community at large.

We want to also say special thanks to Dr. Dwight Lindo who has ensured the receipt of these equipment. We wish your club future success and hope in the future both clubs will find it possible to engage in a friendly game of cricket. Looking forward to your continuous support as we grow in unity and strength.
Thank You.
Yours Respectfully
Alfred Wilson (President)
