The main priority of the Sunday 2nd XI is to provide the youngsters of the club a natural progression from the colts section into adult and longer forms of cricket. Once this is achieved players should then step up to Sunday 1st XI or higher elevens on Saturdays. Over recent times we have won more games than we have lost culminating in reaching the final of the development competition last year. Assisted by a few oldies we want to play fun but competitive cricket giving players an opportunity to learn new and enhance existing skills. Once the days play is over we hope to enjoy drinks (both alcoholic and non) with pizzas.
